With a view to achieving incisive, productive, and open discussions about education and education policy, the Axis Educational Trust is holding a series of RoundTable talks with an exciting range of guest speakers. These events embrace a wide range of issues surrounding education, from practical classroom-orientated advice forums to social and philosophical debates about the role and impact of education in our rapidly changing world.
About Will Orr-Ewing
Will attended Harrow School, followed by Oxford. After graduating with a 2:1 in History, he began tutoring whilst writing his first novel. As he tutored, he became more interested in learning than in writing, and founded Russell Group Tutors in 2006. This later became Keystone Tutors, a large tutoring group which is committed to professionalising and legitimising one-on-one tuition, and to providing it in way that enables and encourages the student rather than providing a crutch.
As well as running Keystone Tutors full time, Will has also set up Chalkboard Learning, an online tutoring service, and DysTalk, a website for parents of children who are looking for information on how to optimise their child’s learning by providing information on specific learning difficulties.
