Summer Skills Programme 2026
The Summer Skills Programme is a free 4-week programme designed to help young people explore future career pathways through practical workshops, expert-led seminars and real work experience opportunities.
Participants will meet industry professionals, discover different career paths and start shaping their future pathway through structured activities and career-focused learning.
Join Axis Educational Trust’s Summer Skills programme in Colindale, Barnet and Ponders End, Enfield where young people aged 14-21 can develop their employability skills, understand their area of improvement and explore new opportunities.

Course Schedule:
8 hours each week
Barnet: 27 July – 14 August
Enfield: 10 – 29 August
Choose either of the dates (Venue and dates subject to change to the participant)
Week 1 & 2:Career Skills Workshop ( CV Building, Soft Skills, Understanding Job Markets, Public Speaking, Job Applications, Guest Speakers)
Week 3: Work Experience
Behaviour & Participation Expectations:
As this is a free programme with limited spaces, participants are expected to attend regularly, behave respectfully and take part in all sessions in a positive and responsible manner.
Participants must show respect to staff, speakers, visitors, other participants and any host venues used during the programme.
A simple disciplinary process will be followed where necessary:
